Study: Half of Employees Take Longer to Complete a Task Using AI Than Without It
Artificial intelligence is supposed to make day-to-day work faster and more efficient. But apparently, that doesn’t always work out: A recent U.S. study shows that while 90% of employees now feel confident using AI, At the same time, however, 50.2% of respondents say that using the technology took them more time than completing the task manually. Only 12% of participants believe that AI understands the specific context of their work, and only 9% trust it to make far-reaching decisions. Managers are pushing a new AI strategy with higher performance expectations—but they themselves do not yet fully understand the guidelines in detail.
