More Salary Information in Job Postings
Although the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive in Germany has been delayed—it is now expected to take effect in 2027—it appears to be having an impact nonetheless: A study shows that, for the first time in years, more companies are specifying concrete salaries for open positions in their job postings. Specifically, in the first half of 2026, 24.1% of all job postings included salary information—up from 22.6% in the two previous years.
